Alvor
The village of Alvor is situated on the estuary of the river, Rio Alvor. There are two main beaches at Alvor although to be exact it is one long stretch of sand that has two names, one for the eastern end Praia dos Tres Irmaos and Praia de Alvor at the western end.
Praia dos Tres Irmaos
Looking down the vast stretch of fine white sands and turquoise waters of the beach at Praia dos Tres Irmaos which is at the eastern end of Alvor on the Algarve in Portugal. The name of the beach translates as 'The Three Brothers Beach' and refers to the rock formations around the beach.
